Towards a Dark Sky Standard – Guidance Document »
This is an overview of the key considerations needed for good lighting design and the protection of dark skies. The document will help applicants, developers, lighting professionals and the general public to install lighting that helps preserve darker skies. Whilst only a summary, it provides links towards other essential documents, e.g. British Standards, Planning Policy and professional guidance, that need consideration when designing and installing lighting.
